Tanya Eiserer is a respected investigative reporter whose work exposes failures in public safety, aviation, healthcare, transportation, and the criminal justice system. Based in Dallas–Fort Worth, she has spent more than 25 years reporting in Texas, covering complex issues through deeply sourced, on-the-ground journalism. Her investigations often center on the systems that fail people—and the consequences those failures have for communities.

Tanya's work has prompted legislative change, state and federal reviews, and reform within public institutions. She has been twice nominated for a National Emmy Award and is the recipient of many awards including nine Lone Star Emmys, two Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, and the Stephen Philbin Award Grand Prize.

Before joining WFAA-TV, Tanya reported for The Dallas Morning News, where she covered criminal justice and public safety. She continues to produce investigations that bring clarity, accountability, and urgency to some of the most pressing issues facing Texas and the country.
